Raymond Chimezie, PhD, CHES, FRSPH

U.S. Fulbright Scholar

Founder & President


Raymond Chimezie, PhD., is a public health educator and consultant.  He is the founder and President of Health for Schools and Communities Foundation; a non-profit charitable organization based in California, United States. He is a scholar-practitioner and an expert in community health access and promotion. Dr. Chimezie has been an educator in the West Contra Costa Unified School District for over ten years. During these years, Dr. Chimezie has devoted much time to promoting health and wellness of students and advocated for continued teaching of health education and promotion in the school district. He worked with the Contra Costa Medical Response Corp as an emergency responder for over 7 years, as well as a member of the advisory board of the Ethnic Health Institute of California. Dr. Chimezie is also a 1st Lt. and the Drug Demand Program Reduction Officer, Civil Air Patrol, United States Air Force Auxiliary. He has presented at national and international symposia on access to healthcare. Dr. Chimezie  was an awardee of the 2016 U.S. Fulbright Scholarship for teaching and research to Sub-Saharan Africa. He taught at the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Nigeria.

Chidumam G. Ike-Chinaka, PhD




Chidumam G. Ike, PhD, is a public health scholar-practitioner with years of experience in  Community Health Promotion & Education. He has worked with many organizations as a clinical social worker, mental health clinician and with the State of California as an employment program representative. His interests include: Advocacy for health and health education, Assessment of individual and community needs, Chronic disease management and prevention, Diversity and equity in healthcare.

Fidelis Akagbosu, MD, FRCOG, FACOG




Dr Fidelis Akagbosu is an Obstetrician, Gynecologist and Infertility  Specialist at the Kaiser Permanente Center for Reproductive Health,  Fremont, California, USA. He is a member of the Association of Nigerian  Physicians in the Americas.
Dr Akagbosu’s earlier medical training in  Nigeria exposed him first-hand to the challenges inherent in providing  health care to its population especially in the rural areas with the  greatest need for health care and related social services.  He has  supported medical missions to Nigeria. He identifies with the goals of  the foundation to promote health and wellness in schools and  communities. 

Vitalis Ugochukwu, EA, MS

 Vitalis N. Ugochukwu, EA, MS (Tax), is a tax accountant.  He is a  Supervising Auditor-Appraiser in the Business Personal Property, Marine  and Aircraft Division of the Office of the Assessor, Alameda County,  California.  He has more than 20 years experience in property tax  assessment. His expertise includes, but is not limited to assessment and  taxation of the following industries - biotechnology,  biopharmaceutical, healthcare, commercial and fractional airlines,  semiconductor manufacturing, automobile manufacturing, wind farms,  billboards, etc. Mr. Ugochukwu is also the principal of Tax Matters  Professionals, a tax consultancy firm in Vallejo, California. 

Chidozie Chimezie, MD

Chidozie Chimezie is a resident physician with a background in economics
